I really don't care who is responsible, if just 1 of these companies could have a fix already~!! A newer bios may contain a newer RAID version. Only setup your raid when you 100% it's stable. It was the same type of drive (SATA), and the size was the same (931.5GB); but it was a different height (thinner). I backed everything up and I'll clone the dying drive to an identical replacement.
